Privacy Policy
This policy describes how USA Raja Shorts/Reels Extractor (the "App"), a Windows desktop application published by RAJ CREATIONS LLC ("we," "us"), and this website handle information.
What the App does with your videos
The App downloads videos you point it at (from a YouTube or Facebook channel you specify, or a local file you provide), transcribes them, and analyzes them to find moments to cut into Shorts. All of this — downloading, transcription, and analysis — happens locally on your own computer. Your video files and their content are never uploaded to us.
Local AI processing
Transcription and text generation (titles, descriptions) run using models on your own machine (via locally-run Whisper and Ollama). No video, audio, or transcript content is sent to any server we operate as part of this processing.
Optional YouTube upload
If you choose to connect your own YouTube account to auto-upload finished clips, that connection uses YouTube's own authorization (OAuth) directly between your computer and Google — we do not see or store your YouTube credentials. This feature is entirely optional and off unless you set it up yourself.
What the App does send to our servers
The App makes a small number of limited, specific network requests — never your video or audio content:
- License activation: when you activate a purchased license, the App sends your license/activation code and a hashed machine identifier (not your raw hardware information) to our activation server to verify and issue your license key.
- Free trial: when a free trial starts, the App sends a one-time, hashed machine identifier to let us know a trial began. This is a simple counter — it does not identify you personally and never gates whether the trial works.
- License validity check: for an activated license, the App checks in at most once a day to confirm the license hasn't been revoked (for example, after a refund). If that check can't be reached, the App keeps working normally using its last known status.
- Update check: the App may make a plain request to check whether a newer version exists. This request carries no personal or machine-identifying information.
None of these requests include your video content, transcripts, or generated titles/descriptions.
Diagnostic information
The App does not use any third-party crash-reporting or analytics service. Diagnostic output the App produces while running stays in the local console/log on your own computer and is not transmitted to us, unless you choose to copy and send it to us yourself (for example, when asking for support).
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Paddle, our payment provider and merchant of record. We do not receive or store your full payment card details — Paddle handles billing directly.
Analytics
This website does not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Data retention
License and trial records (hashed machine identifiers, activation status, the email address tied to your purchase) are kept for as long as your license could reasonably be used — for example, so you can move it to a new computer, or so we can process a refund — or until you ask us to delete them. Downloaded videos, transcripts, and generated clips stay on your own computer under your control; we don't have a copy of them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you (such as your license record). There is currently no automated self-service tool for this — email us using the details below and we'll handle the request directly.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to this policy, we will update the effective date above.
